SchoolMidwest Institute School: The Midwest Institute of Permanent
Cosmetics
The Midwest Institute of Permanent Cosmetics, under the medical
direction of Stephen P. Adley, MD, is the first school of permanent cosmetics to be established in the state of Nebraska.
The school offers intense, hands-on training in the SofTap™ hand method of permanent cosmetics.
Students receive more than 50 hours of extensive training in the SofTap™ permanent cosmetics method over a five-day
period. Each student will be trained to do permanent makeup procedures for eyebrows, eyeliner, beauty marks, full lip color,
lip liner, and blush. Each will receive a complete procedure manual and permanent makeup kit (valued at over $600.00). Classes
are limited – only one students per instructor – and are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. One
seminar is held each month, and the cost is $3,500.00.
Dottie Adley, RN, CRNA, is founder and executive
director of The Midwest Institute of Permanent Cosmetics. She is an official SofTap tm Trainer and Board Certified Instructor
of the Academy of Micropigmentation. Dottie is a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, certified registered nurse anesthetist,
and cosmetic micro-pigmentation specialist with advanced training in permanent cosmetics. She is a member of the American
Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the Nebraska Better Business Bureau. She is a board certified member of the American
Association of Nurse Anesthetist, Fellow of the American Academy of Micropigmentation and member of the Society of Permanent
Cosmetic Professionals and the Nebraska Better Business Bureau.
Stephen P. Adley, MD, medical director of The Midwest
Institute of Permanent Cosmetics and is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiologists. His anesthesiology practice
also includes an extensive area of pain management. Dr. Adley is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
